adrenal cancer

Post a new topicby ajdziaba on Sun Feb 08, 2009 1:07 pm

I am a 38 yr old male with adrenal cancer that was removed and would like to know what side effects anyone is having with taking Mitotane. I am currently taking 6 pills a day and will eventually get up to 12 pills a day.
I am trying to figure out when is the best time to take this medication or how it should be taken (2 pills every 4 hours etc. or all at once). My doctor has told me to take all the pills at the same time later in the evening which at 6 pills gets me very dizzy and light headed the next morning for several hours. If anyone can give me some info on what they have experienced it would help me very much.
Thank you!
