I am actually new to the whole idea/concept of bladder cancer- that is until just yesterday 02/14/08- the doctors informed my dad he has to get tested for it...... he went into the hospital for blood in the urine and he is having really really bad lower back and shoulder pain, so they said it might be kidney stones- turns out the xray shows nothing of kidney stones- now they are suspecting bladder cancer, i was TOTALLY taken back at the thought of any cancer, its so scary and upsetting!!! I was just curious as to what exactly it was when I got on the internet and found this story... it made me cry, i could very well be in your same shoes, feeling what you feel in any given day or moment when they confirm thats what my dad has! I just wanted to say even though i dont know you or never ment you- i feel for you and your family and hope the best for your brother! Miracles do happen! if you get a moment please fill me in on the operation and his symptoms........... take the best care of yourself and brother CHRISTIE
