bLADDER cANCERHere’s my story so far, I was just diagnosed with bladder cancer last week and yesterday, saw and heard the confirmation that it is a rare type of bladder cancer called a squamos [squamous] cell carcinoma and had invaded the muscle tissue.

Re: bLADDER cANCERmy mum was diagnosed with bladder cancer in march, tests showed it to be muscle invasive and she had her bladder removed last thursday so all in all it has taken almost six months for the operation to be done, she had chemo for a few weeks prior to the op and hers had not spread any further so i hope that gives you a little peace of mind. Good luck with your operation and i hope you are feeling well again soon.
Re: bLADDER cANCERMelanie,
I just read your posting. I hope all is well since your sx was yesterday. We just found out last month my mom has bladder cancer. Stage 1-2 Grade 4. She is going in again on the 7th of November to see if they can give us an exact stage. Your doctor waiting thinking it was safe for you to wait. If, though, you are EVER concerned in the future about your doctors choices, please seek another opinion. My mom's doctor knew she had cancer before any tests were done. My best friend knows a lot about cancers due to several family members going though several kinds of cancers. She says drink lots of Dandelion Tea for bladder cancer. She says there are many "natural" things you can do to help. You can check with your nearest health food store or on line. My mothers doctor gave it a thumbs up to the herbs as well as seeing a chinese doctor for herbs and acupuncture. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. Tracy
