Hello,

I am the same age and having similar problems. I have had two surgeries within the last ten years and have had frequent UTI symptoms for the last 5 or so. Recently, I visited a urogynecologist because my family practitioner said that I must see a specialist. On the first visit I had a cystometry which left me in great pain afterwards. It has been about a month since the visit and I am still having urethra and bladder pain. I wonder if there is a connection between the endo and bladder trouble. I am now taking a bladder spasms medicine which is helping a little bit. The only diagnosis that I have received so far is muscle spams around the bladder. But, the in office test is not supposed to cause any pain or discomfort afterwards. I felt fine when I went in to see the urologist. No pain, no UTI at the time.
I am supposed to schedule the same proceedure that you are having done, but I am a bit scared to now because of the last test. I wish you luck on your tests and will look for your future posts. Maybe, we can help each other with all of this. Take Care. B-I
