Anybody have some thoughts about this???

Okay, I am a 50 year old male. For over a year I have had Microscopic hematuria I recently (over three weeks ago) hade my first cystoscopy procedure (in office, rigid scope) and there was some "issues."

First the Uro thought the hematuria was a result of an enlarged prostate (Psa fine) and then when he was in the bladder (I watched all this on monitor) he then said no, here is where it is coming from...

He then took a biopsy.

Weeks later, I was told the CYTOLOGY report was negative, but that they are still working on the PATHOLOGY... [?]

So, how likely is it that I could still have an issue if the cytology was negative?

If NOT Bladder cancer, then what was all that we both saw and he biopsied?

Why does it take so long to get a pathology report?

I would really appreciate someone's insight on this. Thank you!
