Burning and pain

Post a new topicby archrock on Tue Oct 23, 2007 2:01 pm

I have had 3 BCG treatments and had a break after treatment 2 because I developed a burning sensation on urination, had chills, and felt like I had the flu, though I never had a fever. I was given Cipro and that worked for a couple of days but the reaction came back and I was given Isonazol which worked to make me feel better and I was given the third treatment.

I have had a mild discomfort at the tip of my penus, little not quite sharp pain which came and went and also discomfort on urination, again at the tip. This morning I experienced burning again on urinating, and some chills and feeling crummy, though not like before. I had stopped the Isonazol two days after the last treament, and again took it this morning because I have a BCG treatment tomorrow. I am worried that this is a sign that the cancer has returned, or worse and even asked the doctor is it was possible that the pathologist mixed up my samples with someone else. He said it was highly unlikely but anything is possible just doubtful. My tumor was large and in his words, ugly, but the report was that it was non-aggressive, non-invasive.

Should I go ahead with the BCG tomorrow? Am I worrying about nothing?
