Follow up biopsies? Wrong Pathology Report?

Post a new topicby archrock on Wed Nov 28, 2007 10:14 am

After removal of a tumor on Aug. 31st and subsequent BCG treatments which made me ill, so that I ended up with only 5 instead of six, I am scheduled today for a new CT scan and next week for a hospital cysto so my doctor can look and take biopsies to make sure there is no cancer. I am pretty anxious about it. Anyone else go through this? I had read that usually they just remove by cauterizing, any new growths since the type of cancer is established. My diagnosis was non-agressive, non-invasive, but my doctor said my tumor looked border-line agressive ("nasty") which could mean he doubted the pathology report.
