Bladder Control

Hello,

This is my first post to the forum. I am a 21 year old female who is suffering from Urinary Incontinence. I have been experiencing severe to light symptoms over the course of the week. The problem started on Monday while at my desk and I noticed I had urinated without having control. On Tuesday night/Wednesday morning I woke up in my bed to find my sheets were soaked with urine. I've been having ongoing problems like this all week.

I went to the Dr. on Thursday and they said that I do not have a UTI so they decided to take my blood and do some tests. Unfortunately the test results won't come in for another 3-5 days. In the meantime I am suffering from embarrassment along with the actual symptoms. The Dr. also said that this is very uncommon for a female my age, and they don't know exactly what could be wrong.

They were going to put me on medicine so I would stop 'leaking' but they weren't sure whether or not it would make my symptoms better. . .or worse. At $80 for the prescription I decided to hold off and just deal.

Has anyone else suffered from this? I don't know what to do while waiting for the test results and I could really benefit from talking to someone about this.
