No feeling in the lower spine areasome time ago i developed flu like symtoms, it affected my bladder at the time, running constantly to the loo, up to 20 times during the day
I have been to many doctors, they can not tell me what is wrong. I have no feeling in the lower spine area when i want to have a BM, my bladder tells me, I have put up with this condition for 13 years. I constantlty are at the loo all day, up sometimes 8 times a night peeing, if there is anything sitting in the bowel I will be at the loo until my bowel is cleard, the messages have gone wonky. Can anyone please help????????
Re: No feeling in the lower spine areaDepending on your age you could consider the possibility of a nerve disorder like multiple sclerosis or potentially Guillain-Barre syndrome given your flu like symptoms. Check out neurologychannel.com, good luck
Re: No feeling in the lower spine areaThank you for your reply
I have been tested for MS, drs tell me I do not have MS Reading about Guillain-Barre Syndrome, yes I had the tingling skin sensation, would creep down one side of my body & then over the other. Also thinning of the hair, low iron levels, cracked heels, all of these conditions. Very try throat at nights. Still running to the loo all the time{peeing} I find it difficult to have a BM as there is no feeling there, have to take micolax to help empty the bowel. I am a prisoner in my own home, as I never know when I need to go to the loo, I can not hold on when needing a pee. Has anyone heard of these symtons, please HELP
