3 Biopsies-no cancer

1 1/2 years ago my PSA had gone from my usual 2 to 5. I was sent to a urologist After taking antibiotics to rule out infection and my PSA up to 5.5 he suggested a biopsy. He did the usual 12 section biopsy. 11 sections were negative and one was suspicious. 3 months later (PSA now 6) he did another biopsy taking samples only from the suspicious area. Negative.

Just had a biopsy last week. I was the same as you went from 2 - 5. Tried antibiotics also, PSA went to 5.7. My also came back negative. I have never had to have any type of surgery before, never really been in the hospital for anything the past 33 years. I was very nervous about the whole process. I have an enlarged prostate, with no cancer. Talk about being ready to cry... I was wondering what type of supplements you are taking and where did you get them, and have they helped? My urologist put me on alfuzosin HCI 10mg. Thanks.
