Effect of Upper Cervical Chiropractic Adjustments on Bladder

Post a new topicby Can'tgoanymore on Sat Nov 22, 2008 2:03 pm

I was undergoing a series of adjustments by an Upper Cervical Chiropractor when I started having
difficulty urinating. I now have acute urinary retention and have to catherize myself 4 to 5 times
a day. Recently, I have been told that trauma to the neck or spinal cord could cause the bladder
to stop responding to impulses to urinate, a condition referred to as Neurogenic Bladder.
Has anyone had a similar experience?

Try posting on the "Bladder Control" forum. I think you might get a better response than here on the BPH forum since it sounds like your problem is not BPH related. Just trying to help>NOT get rid of you! Of course you are free to post here, but I think it's more bladder related than prostate enlargement (BPH).
