I have been freaking out for 4 months now. had a cystoscope and uro said i have mild enlargement of the prostate. tried a few different meds - flowmax, uroxatrol, cardura and now hytrin none seem to be working. i drive for a living and I think i'm going to lose my job becase i dont think i can keep doing this while having to piss every 30-to 40 mins and just release a few onces.

I'm having testicle pain - eating 600 mg ibprofin 3-4 times a day and 750mg vicodin at night when needed.

I want to die! this is the most f*d up thing ever. Oh yeah, i'm only 43 yrs old.

surgery and retrograde ejaculation, even the meds give me retro. can anyone help me out. i cant deal with this any longer.

I'm 47 went thru the same thing It took me nine months and 2 uros to get something done I had the tumt a month ago still bleeding but i think I will be better I really freaked out too hang in there and tell your uro to do something soon or get another will be thinking of you.

Hey Russ, how are things going with you now? flow, burning, any retrograde ejaculation?

was it painful? where did you have it done? Can your drink coffee and have spices. That kills me also, no coffee, no wonder im going nuts.

No burning at all but after 4 weeks but no Improvement in flow, Still some bleeding when urinating and with ejaculation but it is ok no retrograde ejaculation
I got It done in Ft Wayne, Indiana at Northeast urology I really liked the Doc seemed very knowledgable
But painful hell yes 30 minutes of pain but once over didn't feel anything, no pain other than catheter in for 4 days, I think flow is getting better but not sure.
Let me know what you decide to do and how you are

If your testicles are hurting, you have an infection of the prostate. This called prostatitis. I had the same symptons a couple of years ago. You need three weeks of Cipro. If left untreated, you will eventually develop a high fever and get seriously ill.

It's not prostatitis. Was on Leviquin for 30 days, then another one [sulfer] for 50 days. no infection of prostate so the third uro tell's me. They don't know what the f--- it is. I know it totally sucks though. Taking Uroxatral now once a day and it really isnt doing much.

dreding the thought of some surgery. Doc said he might want to do some Urodynamics. dont think i want anymore things stuck inside me.

Maybe I'll just go to sleep tonight and....
