My father suffered a massive heart failure 27 months back, and his breathing stopped completely, pulse zero, heart beat zero, blood pressure zero. Im so sorry to hear about your father.Many times after a heart attack the brain is deprived of blood/oxygen for a period of time due to the heart not pumping and causes brain damage.(but Im sure the doctor explained this to you)It depends how long his brain was deprived of oxygen.I pray for your Dad and your family.It is a very difficult thing to go through.My prayers are with you .
