having problems reaching orgasm

Post a new topicby zsihovec on Wed Apr 08, 2009 8:34 am

I was circumcised about 2 years ago for reoccuring infections, and since that time I've had a great deal of difficulty reaching orgasm. Does anyone know how long this lasts? The Dr said that the nerves will rebuild themselves in time, is this true? Has anyone had the same experience. I need some supportive advice because I'm starting to worry.

Thanks

Unfortunately nerves do not regrow. You have lost the fine touch and stretch receptors in the ridged band of the inner foreskin. Those nerves are gone forever. You will just have to relearn sex. You are not alone. A number of men circumcised as adults have complained to me of the same problem. Sorry, but you should have been informed of this possibility before you were circumcised.

Thanks for answering. Are you a Doctor? I went to see 3 Doctors and they all said the same thing, that I would only lose some sensitivity in the glans. They said that ejaculation problems come from the brain not the penis. They added that circumcised men in the Jewish world, Arabic world and a majority of Amercians don't have any problems and funtion normally. I don't know what to believe anymore.
