Hi Don,

I suffer from delayed ejaculation as well. I am 61 years old and can ejaculate on occasion but not everytime. Lately I have not been able to ejaculate at all. My problem started when I went to a pain management doctor and started using pain meds. The relief I recieved from my bad back was amazing. I had never had any sexual related problems and really didn't until I started on anti-depressents (effexor), then I remember trying for hours to have intercource with my wife and she finally said enough after at least and hour and we normally went on for around 15 to 20 minutes. I am not sure if there is a corrolation but I went through andropose (male menopause) at the same time and tried testosterone jels and patches and finally injections which have helped so much. But the depression was caused by the pain meds. or the andropose. I got off of effecor and went to prozac and got even more relief from my back problems but also changed Pain Management doctors and pain meds. I am on a duragesic patch and I take oxycodone as well. All of my doses are pretty high and I can assure you I am not an addict. I have had two surgeries lumbar (lower back) and crevical (neck) and I really need the relief. Now I am off of prozax and take Wellbutrin which is supposed to not have any issues with sexual problems. I talked with my pain management dr and he thinks it is probably the oxycodone and I plan to get off of that. So at any rate I am slowly working my way back by trying to get off the high doses of pain meds and I do not take anti-depresents except wellbutrin. Why must you be on Prozac. These anti-depressents are not for life time use as far as I know. I hope my story helps you. Feedback would be appreciated. please excuse any mispellings.
