Re: MRI of brainFor many reasons too numerous to detail here. MRI is by far the most effective way of looking at the brain. Looking for things that are not supposed to be there, for aging or degenerative changes, for blood clots for hemorrhages, aneurysms and the list goes on and on.

Re: Re: MRI of brainIf the results came back basiclly normal but it showed an obstruction of the right side of the brain the nurse says its nothing to worry about but the doctor would like to discuss it any input of what this means???

Re: Re: Re: MRI of brainI'm not sure what obstruction to one side of the brain means. Sometimes the ventricles on one side of the brain are larger than on the other. That can be a normal finding of no significance.
