Post Epididymitis Ejaculation problems

Post a new topicby srschriver on Thu Apr 17, 2008 10:16 pm

Hello,

I am a 20 year old male. Over a month ago, I was diagnosed with epididymitis by my doctor, and went on a 10-day course of the antibiotic Doxycyclene (sp?). The pain was relieved, however, ever since I have had trouble ejaculating while masturbating. My ejaculations are much less powerful, and much less climactic (i.e. less pleasurable). Also, sometimes I feel a very dull ache in the testicle, but nothing more than a bit of discomfort. I'm wondering-- and assuming-- that this has something to do with the epididymitis I recovered from? I have a urology center ready to call, but I wanted to get some opinions here first.

Thanks.

Is it possible that scar tissue is blocking the flow?

I did not think about that. I went back in to the doctor who first diagnosed me, who couldn't give me a straight answer on what was happening, and said to give it time. Since then, the problem seems to have gone away, so maybe she was right.

Now I'm more concerned about the epididymitis recurring, which I've read that it can. I'm approaching the one-year anniversary now!
