4 Year ED survivor

Post a new topicby MikeyHoney on Tue Aug 21, 2007 8:03 pm

I am 56 and have had ED for 4 to 5 years. Background is heart attack and quad bypass 10 years ago and in the last 2 years 3 attacks with 5 stints and an angoplasty.
I really think my ED is related to a circulation problem or blockage.
At first the Viagra, Cialis, Levitra worked even though the heartburn was not worth the sex for me.
My testosterone check was in the mid-range so no treatment was prescribed.
Exaculation still occurs with oral and/or manual but really never gets hard but, of course, does grow at the climax time.
What direction should I go?
Since I no longer have insurance, trips to a Urologist are expensive.
I am hoping there is something that I have not tried short of penile implant.
Advice would be greatly appreciated.

You could try a vacuum erection pump, or caverject which is injected directly into the penis. Muse a urethral suppository is another option.

I have tried the Caverject and it really hurts and takes away the moment.
Not worth the pain it leaves at the injection site.

I have faught the e d demon for over ten years. I believe your best and cheapest help will come from a vacuum device. I have three of them and have found the vacuerect to be the best for me. That may be because I am small. For a larger "man" the osborn may be the best.
Think long and hard before you go for an implant. I went that route and suffered having it run through my urethra and then become infected. All had to be removed and I was left worse off than before (if possible).
That was over a year and a half ago and I am still working to get more feeling and some action going. What ever you decide to do, don't forget that all this stuff messes with your mind and you have to address that as well. Good Luck!
