ED from Kidney Transplant?Hi, I'm looking for some general thoughts on ED based on my past/current health. I know the final and real answer is "see my Dr", however I wanted people's advise and opinions on this. Perhaps even another Dr. who is on this forum?
First, when I was very young I had 1 testical removed (undescented). As of 4 or 5 years ago I had a sperm count to see about having kids and I'm shooting blanks. However at that time I had not issues with ED. My ED problem (currently) in the ability to maintain an erection. To add into this first medical scenario, I had a kidney transplant 6 years ago. I am on anti-rejection medication for that. My weight, health, and blood pressure are perfect. I'm not sure about my testostrone level, however my normal labs for kidney function/rejection. I'm under 35. I really don't have an ED issue in getting an erection, it's maintaining an erection after 1 ejaculation. I have been married for 10 years and I'd like to be able to last longer for my wife. I don't believe it's an emotional issue - more physical. What are your thoughts? I've heard low dosages of Celais are a good fix for this type of issue. Again, I know I need to see my Dr. but I wanted some advanced thoughts. Thanks!
Re: ED from Kidney Transplant? It is normal to lose your erection after ejaculation. There must be a reason why you needed a transplant , high blood pressure, Diabetes, etc, all of which can cause ED. If you want to last longer you might try one of the condoms now available that have a topical anesthetic in them. Good luck.
