Finding a doctor who diagnosis cause and does not treat sympDoes anyone have any suggestions on how to find a doctor who diagnosis the underlying cause and does not soley treat symptoms? Or, has anyone had any success getting a full diagnosis?
The two urologists I have seen from different practices say they do not typically diagnose the undelrying cause of ED because the treatments would be the same anyway. My Primary agreed that with insurance they way it is, he could see that response.
Re: Finding a doctor who diagnosis cause and does not treat sympYou may have more luck loking for an "integrated" or functional medicine practitioner. (These are full fledged physicians) My husband saw a DAN! practitioner (His was a physician, but some are not. They often work with autistic children) because he suspected food intolerances. Sure enough, on a gluten and casein free diet, his ED improved.
