I have seen two urologists and my PCP for Erectile Dysfunction Each has ordered labwork or used previous labs provided by my PCP. I have had a digital exam at the base of my penis and one prostate exam. When I asked what was causing the problem, I was baiscally given the response that they were not sure as everything seemed in order. When I asked if more tests could be performed to get a difinitive answer, I was basically informed that they preferred not to do them because treatments (Levitra, Cialis, or Viagra) would be the same either way or penile injections if oral medications did not work.
How do you get the doctors to dig a little deeper and find the cause and treat the cause?
