Re: is this true? There are many (hundreds) of herbs, supplements, and other natural remedies that can definitely help with ED issues. Ginseng is one that has a good reputation and a lot of history in this area. However, it is almost impossible to predict the effect of any particular herb - or combination of them - on a specific individual without more information. It depends a lot on the specific cause of ED and also your state of general wellness which determines to a large extent the ability of your body to respond to supplements of any kind. In many - or most - cases, it requires a regimen of supplements in advance to bring your body up to the point where it can assimilate the necessary minerals, enzymes, amino acids and other critical components in the herbal remedies. You can buy a bunch of stuff at random and try it for a while to see if it helps. However a better approach is to find someone who can ascertain your specific situation and recommend those things most likely to help. Most acupuncture/accupressure centers know how to do that or some health food stores have an affiliation with a nutritional consultant who may use a form of Muscle Response Testing to help analyze what will work for you. However, ED is one of the trickier situations and it really depends a lot on your individual condition. I have been trying various herbal products for over a year (with the help of a naturopath) and some seem to help a bit but I have not found the total solution so far. I will keep you (and everyone else on this forum) posted on the progress as I continue.
