It’s only recently that my experience of Female Sexual Arousal Disorder has become to be a problem for me. I am 22 years old and a student, and do not get aroused physically in any way. Since I moved away from home and began university I’ve suddenly become painfully aware of my physical ’shortcomings’. It stops me from getting emotionally close to people that I like, and it’s an incredibly isolating situation to experience.
This is what has pushed me to go ahead an...Read the full article

hi, i can surely relate. i am 28 yrs old and i have had problems since i was 18 or 19. for years doctors could not help me and like you i did research and found out that my problem could be steming from things like depression, high blood pressure medication and just being a busy mother. speaking of mother, i think thats when it all started, after the birth of my first son. i had a really difficult labor and i read somewhere that difficult child labor can be related to some sex dysfunctions. i can go on forever about this subject but it still will not give us a solution. you are so right about information being directed towards menopausal women. my doctor whom i just saw recently told me in front of my husband that i dont have a "sexual dysfunction" that it was basically in my head and i had to decide whether or not im going to give it up or not. she also made a good point about people in worst situations like women in Iraq. she said if their still pumping out babies with bombs dropping all around them then i certainly can enjoy sex in the U.S. but it still doesn't help my situation! chat wit ya later!

I can surely relate, I am 34 and supposed to be in the peak of my sexuality and I am flatlining. My poor hubby is beside himself. I try for his sake but it isn't always easy. I've just come to terms with it after telling my GYN that over the past year I have been losing sensations and my libido is dropping. She says I might be stressed or depressed, each time I tell her no but she may be on to something (in the stressed department anyway). I am a fulltime student, mom, wife and finance biller, so I don't have time for myself much. I am trying the herbal route to keep me afloat until the school part is over. Maybe it will work, I dunno. Try going to a sex therapist. They might have some answers for you.
