erectile dysfunctioni'm a 19 year old male, and i thought i had impotence, but now i'm realizing thats not exactly the case. i was with a girl and had trouble entering because my erection was not full. after examining my erection alone, i realize that the blood flow to my penis is ok, but it feels like it isn't fully connected to my body. this is difficult to explain. laying down, it used to to stick up, but now it just lays flat on my stomach. the only cause i could think of, is whenever i have a morning erection, i used to push my penis down in order to urinate. i feel like maybe i pushed it down too far, and i affected something. does anybody understand what i'm talking about, and has anyone ever heard of this condition???
thanks, mikey
Re: erectile dysfunctionI am also a 19 year old male with exactly the same problem and know exactly where your coming from. I too have been experiencing these problems for well over a year now and reading your post i thought it was me who wrote it. I get some action in the old boy but never a full erection which means sex is impossible. And mine lays flat on my stomach too. I've tried 25mg Viagra which did nothing and i'm in the process of trying 50mg. If that doesn't work i think i will be suicidal cos d*** it's depessing. The urologist didnt seem to know s*** but he said an
ultrasound on the penis might be useful. But that i have to wait for and it has to cleared by someone. I just wana bone my girl and it's killing me cos i love her. But here in england it's just more waiting lists and i don't think my beautiful girlfriend will wait much longer. mikeyd you seem to be the only guy with a similar problem who's my age. Reply to this if you can. i'm a 19 year old male, and i thought i had impotence, but now i'm realizing thats not exactly the case. i was with a girl and had trouble entering because my erection was not full...
Re: Re: erectile dysfunctionwell at least i'm not the only one...i also tried 50mg viagra, didnt do anything. i have a feeling anxiety might be the root cause for me, tho there's no way to fix it -- but i haven't gotten a full erection in a year while alone either, so i can't see how anxiety would affect me then. dr told me i seemed physically fine even tho he didn't do any real tests outside of a quick physical examination. he just said to relax, focus on other things, take it slowly etc etc. if it were that easy, i couldve fixed the problem myself. i have the opposite problem of most guys...i have no problem getting girls, its the sex that i can't do. i really don't know much longer i can handle this either, this is definitely the worst age to have this problem. you think your problem is mental or physical? any progress?

Re: Re: Re: erectile dysfunctionIf you can get nighttime erections, your problems are probably mental. If you don't ever get normal erections, then the problem could be physical. I say 'could be' as stress and anxiety can affect erections even in the sleep.
I regret that you are having difficultly getting a doctor to take you seriously. It is pretty rare that such young people have physical problems, while it is fairly commen for young men to have erectile difficulties due to performance anxiety in new relationships. While some teens can, to use your term, bone anything, others have difficulty, and you are hardly alone in this. Be firm with the doctor and make them understand that you really do have an issue and insist of a range of blood work and, if needed, ultrasounds. I suspect myself that all is ok, but occasionally a bonafide health issue is found that can be corrected. Otherwise, take things slow. If you are otherwise kind to your gf and show love and respect in other ways, she may very well stick around. Sex is not all women look for in a man. [quote] well at least i'm not the only one. ...
