high psa and grouth on kidneyMy husband went for his regular check-up,found his psa to be 13. After ultras-sound a tumor was found on a kidney. other test are not set until friday. He had six biopsis taken from his prostate ten months ago. My husband is 52 years
old. Friday is a long time away. Does anyone have any input? Thanks Denise Green
Re: high psa and grouth on kidneyA PSA of 13 has to be considered suspicious for a prostate problem. This has nothing to do with what was found on the kidney. Ultrasound is not a very good test for a definitive answer and most kidney "tumors" on ultrasound turn out to be nothing.
What was the PSA when the previous biopsies were taken? Has he seen a urologist?
My husband went for his regular check-up,found his psa to be 13. After ultras-sound a tumor was found on a kidney...
