progressive EDBenjibopper, I posted here on February 14th with my story on progressive ED. If you haven't read it yet, please do so. We have similar stories, though I am twice your age. And you are very right, it is not easy getting an explanation from a doctor, whether he/she is a urologist or not.
Physicians naturally want to fix your medical problem, and in the case of ED, there are a number of options. But I have had no luck in finding the root cause of my problem, and it is exasperating. And I also do not like medications unless I absolutely must take them. However I am taking Viagra, and it has helped me quite a bit. That is the only medication I have ever taken on a long term basis, because I saw no other viable option. You did not say in your post if you have tried it. I suggest giving it a try, while continuing to look for the cause of your ED. I hope you have better luck that I have had. I realize there are some medical problems that doctors simply do not have an answer for, and I may have one of those. But I haven't given up (as you see by my post), and I hope you don't either. Good luck.
