Massive tomato juice colored hematuriaI am 71 year old male and am a retired veterinarian (i.e. I have some medical knowledge). Two years (2006)ago I had symptoms and went to an emergency clinic at my HMO. Re: Massive tomato juice colored hematuriaHello,
I read your article and was saddened by the suffering that you have had to endure. I am 48 yrs. old and female. I have had miroscopic hematuria (blood in urine) along with frequent urination which includes night urination and some discomfort in my lower back. This week I had pain in the middle of my back and side. The doctor gave me some pain medication and I only had to take it for two days. I was thinking it came from some exercise I did the last week which included weights. I did not go the next week and was very tired from my condidtion. I had a surgery in November of 2008 for a complex cyst and the removal of my last ovary and some endometriosis. The doctors told me that if the hematuria was still there they would continue to check for other things. I'm having a second CT and tests done. I hope you are able to read this. I have alot of faith in God. I've done everything I can to keep healthy although I've made mistakes in the past and lived the party life. I no longer smoke and eat very healthy. I ususally walk and exercise. I read everything I can and do the best I can. Sometimes I lay around too much for a variety of reasons, but I figure that Jesus will comfort our souls regardless of the outcome. There will always be light if we look to that direction. Sincerely, Terry
