Fluoroquinolones (Cipro, Levaquin, Avelox etc)

Offering a heads up that if you ever took a Fluoroquinolone Antibiotic, Cipro (Ciprofloxacin), Levaquin (Levofloxacin), Avelox (Moxifloxacin) and many others of this class, incl some that have been removed from the market.... you could very well begin experiencing "mysterious symptoms", esp those involving the kidneys/bladder.... even a year or more later, long after discontinuing the drug.

Please check your medical/prescription drug records in case this applies to you. Your condition may be "Fluoroquinolone-induced". You will need to go to FDA website to fill out a Medwatch Form.

Your doctor needs to know.

The Fluoroquinolones can cause a multitude of symptoms leading to misdiagnosis. The FDA was SUED to put a Black-Box Warning on the FQ's, but the warning was only for "tendon rupture/tendon damage".

The tendon issues may be a direct result of DNA damage, cell death.... also related to muscle-wasting and kidney damage/failure. This is also how the FQ's affect our bladder/urinary tract.

Please take the time to look into the toxicity of the Fluoroquinolone class of antibiotic. They "work" like CHEMO.
