Scared and Worried, pls advice me..Hello everyone
I'm happy I found this forum where I will have chance to talk about what's bothering me these days.I'm 22 years old girl and a month ago ,on a routine urine check up, a microscopic blood was found. The number of my red blood cells was 3-8 but the number of the erytrocytes was 25 (the reference was negative-10).Everything else was fine. Right after this I was told to do a blood test in order to check my creatinine level.Everything turned out to be fine. Couple of days after I started having UTI symptomes like pain while urination and discomfort.I went into mail in clinic where a urine test was done. This time my protein level was little higher than what it supposed to be and there was a microscopic blood again. The doctro gave me MicroBid which cure my UTI symptomes but apparently didn't help the blood - in - urine problem, since after a week I went back for check up and the blood wasn't gone. I forgot to meantion that an urine culture was done and it turned out to be negative. I'm worried as hell since whenever i type Hematuria on google the only thing appears is : CANCER CANCER and CANCER. The last couple of days I have low grade fever ( 37.7 c ) - if we can call this fever, and a lower back pain that spreads all over my back, hips and ribs. I would appreciate any opinions, simular experiences or advices from you. I have a refference from my GP to go see urologist (he gave me after me bothering him with this, since it wasn't nothing serious according to him). Now I can't find urology clinic where they have free place before March or April and I'm in total panic. Also I would like to say I'm sorry for the long post but I really felt like talking to someone about this issure.Sorry for any grammar and spelling mistakes too. Thanks a million for taking time to read my post.
