Needle Aspiration with which sclerosant procedure?

Post a new topicby Advocate on Thu Feb 12, 2009 7:55 pm

I need to choose between surgery and Needle Aspiration with sclerosant after my hydrocele became much bigger and more painful after a surfing accident. My research shows the reoccurence with Needle Aspiration with sclerosant (NAS) to almost as effective as surgery. However, there is a much quicker recovery time with NAS vs surgery. Please share your insights as to both procedures.
