Blood Clot after my Hydrocelectomy

Post a new topicby jasons on Sat Feb 07, 2009 1:45 am

I had a Hydrocelectomy 1 week ago. The surgery went well and I recovered quickly. I was lucky enough to not have a ton of pain. But now I have a blood clot - as confirmed by my doctor today. Is this pretty common for guys after having a Hydrocelectomy and will it go away? I was so happy to have the surgery and have this fixed, but now have this lump back in my scrotum and am pretty depressed about it.

How are you now? I had the same surgery and feel the same way you described. Did it get better?

The blood clot is almost completely reabsorbed. The testicle and vas deferens on the side I had the hydrocele on are still a little sensitive - nothing painful, but when I touch them I can tell they are a little sore.

But the good news is the blood clot is 95% gone - so hopefully for you it will go down as well. Just be patient and don't think about it constantly :)

I am 42, and I am not happy with my slow recovery of hydrocelectomy.

I had it on 1/29/09. Now I still feel pain, and my skin is loose and saggy.
