Hydrocele treatmentAbout 3yrs ago I went to the doctor worried about my scrotal swelling....my scrotum was about the size of a peach... my wife was worried too. The doc checked for signs of cancer and also did ultrasound imaging...... He said it was an hydrocele no signs of cancer and don't worry unless it gets uncomfortable... The doc told me about surgery options and aspiration ... but I got a bit scared about needles and scalpels down there...my sex life was great at the time and didn't want to mess anything up!... so I did nothing.
Now it's about the size of a grapefruit! and is getting uncomfortable and is visually noticeable fully dressed... I'm now 53 years old and single again… occasionally I get flattering female attention thinking I have a large package...I was recently propositioned by an interested gay person… I'm a bit embarrassed now about being abnormal, and am now considering doing something about it. Surgery still sounds scary to me...so I researched online and discovered herbal pills for the treatment of hydrocele claiming to get rid of it… I discovered three different formulas: Cedratax, Hydrotab, and Drotonin. Does anyone have experience with this ??
Re: Hydrocele treatmentLet me know if it works. How does it claim to work as sounds highly unlikely because hydrocele develops by a failure of lymphatic system to reabsorb fluid? I read several medical journal articles and they have never been mentioned. I would try needle aspiration with hardening agents as it is more simple than surgery and success rate (no recurrence) of 78% after 2 sessions. If you ever injure that area it is going to swell up bad so get it down ASAP.

Re: Hydrocele treatmentJason.. did you ever find any herbal treatment for your hydrocele? I've have a hydrocele in my left nut for 3 to 4 years now.. Sometimes it shrinks (but never goes completely away).. sometimes it swells to the size of a small orange which usually last about 3 weeks. After reading all the horror stories (in this forum.. about going thru with surgery options).. I've completely X'ed surgery out. There isn't any pain.. the only sensation I have is at times the scrotum hangs heavy (I wear boxer shorts).. My Doc said to take an ibuprofen from time to time to relieve any exessive swelling. If it swelled bigger than a grapefruit and doesn't go away.. then I might consider aspiration.. but that's a big might.
Jason, your post had a touch of humor.. (occasionally I get flattering female attention thinking I have a large package...I was recently propositioned by an interested gay person…) lol.. At 53, guys our age need a little help. Think of your hydrocele as an asset. Take care.. reply as to what you did.. if anything. Gary~
