Hydrocele

I was diagnosed with a hydrocele over 3 years ago. I had the corrective operation, yet have still felt the discomfort in my groin (off and on) throughout the years. Recently, I've been getting the same pains I felt initially, in the same place as when my hydrocele was first diagnosed.... I was hoping there was someone with the same problem, as I'm often stopped in my tracks by the pain that shoots through the area where the hydrocele was....
Please help, if you can.
