My son inlaw has just been told that due to a completely closed off tube he can not father children. He has active healthy sperm, but they can not get through. I live in Chatham, Ontario, Canada and I would like to know if these procedures are available near us. Also, what is the cost involved with these procedures?

The cost for a sperm retrieval and IVF is around $8000- $11000 dollars. He may be a candidate for a vas reconstruction at a cost of around $6000. The he conceives natuarally.
