My husband recently had surgery to remove strictures. They also discovered that he had a prostate infection and have almost cleared it up. I was wondering what affect the strictures and infection would have on his fertility. We have been trying unsuccessfully for two years to conceive a second child. I have heard that the infection could reduce his sperm count. Would this be a temporary problem that would eventually clear up after the infection is gone or would it be an on going problem? Would there be prblems with the sperm other than the count?
