Testicular Cancer and infertility

Post a new topicby Guest on Sat May 11, 2002 12:44 am

My husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 1999...He underwent 2 surgeries and very aggressive chemo...First he had a testicle removed and then the lymph node dissection...Last but not least, chemo ..

When he had the lymph node surgery, we were told that there was a chance he would have "retrograde ejaculation"...Of course, now he does...He has no problem having an orgasm, but it is a dry one...

We would very much like to have children...I did a search on this subject and read that there are medicines that could reverse this...Could you tell me, please, what they are and what are chances of conceiving, naturally, would be if those medications worked...

Please give me some answers, any ray of hope would be greatly appreciated...Then maybe I can get him to discuss this with his doctor!!!!

Thank you,
