I wad diagnosed with IC 7 yrs. ago and have tried every treatment and rx out there, so far nothing has worked. My urologist has suggested either Botox or tibial postior nerve stimulation. At the time of the appointment I thought I would do the TPNS. After A LOT of thought I am thinking about the Botox. My doctor mentioned bladder control loss.. did that happen to you? He also mentioned that it only lasts for 4-6 months, how are you feeling 6 months later? I have been having a horrible flare up the last few days and am trying to figure out what to do so I can call and make my appoitment. I would love any info you would give me on this. Thank you !
