I started having problems after my second bladder surgery for incontinence. I went back to my urologist and he became very defensive when I tried to explain my symptoms to him. He said “You were having bladder spasms before you had surgery, this is not my fault”.

I joined this sight, mainly to comment to your post. I also was diagnosed with IC. Please email me at [moderator note: e-mail address has been removed] I would like to speak with you. If you do not feel comfortable, or dont want to email me, that is fine also but PLEASE.. do NOT take that pill he is prescribing you. Nothing good will come out of this, they tried to shove that pill on me also, and I told them to shove it up their ass. That pill will do more harm then good, and you do not need it.

The reason I would like to email you, is becuase I want to share with you what has and hasnt helped with me, and how im able to deal with this without modern medicine, and without a pill that can cause kidney failure. Regardless what you do, I wish the best to you. This is not something that I would wish upon anyone, but taking it one day a time sure helps.
