Hi, My name is Mandy I am 19 yrs old ,
I was recently diagnosed with IC & since I was very young Ive had alll of the symtoms but my doctors could never tell me what exactly ! Its very painful & very draining …. I'm 18 and was diagnosed with the same thing. It's pretty scary, but my doctor put me on amitriptylin, which is an anti-depressant. I didn't want to take this, because I'm not depressed, but it didnt change my mood at all. It has helped so much and I rarely have pain anymore. The only thing my doctor said was I might feel like I have a hangover in the morning. So far nothing too bad, I just get a little tired. I hope this helps!
