Re: Pain in hips and buttocks from Interstitial Cystitis (IC)I have had the same pain with my i.c. I have had it for ten years but the pain in my lower half did not get bad until recently. At first when the pain got bad in the lower half I went to the e.r. a couple times but they told me i would have to see a special dr- the problem- there is no doctor close to where we live that knows much about ic.and the doctors here won't give me pain meds to help with pain so bein a single mom on disability living with ic i just thank God everyday for the strenth to raise these kids and do the best I can.
