OAB and IC

Post a new topicby OABandIC on Mon Aug 20, 2007 10:18 am

im really young to have IC but it makes it hard to live a normal life. nobody seems to completely understand, they just say, "you need to make an effort to go out and do things anyway" this is impossible! all my friends probably think im lazy.
i was on ditropan for a long time, then i stopped because it stopped working. when i tried it again a couple of months later, it made the syptoms change, and made me feel overall worse.
now im having urodynamic testing for OAB and the doctor will probably give me botox injections in a couple of months.
any suggestions on ow to get throug school until then???

Have you tried Elmiron and the IC diet. Also Elmiron can be directly instilled into your bladder which may give you some quick relief, good luck

Usually it is done in a doctors office, but I have patients that once they are taught they do it at home.
