Interstitial Cystitis

I was just recently (last week) dx with IC and have only been having trouble for about a year. It started with uti type symptoms and then progressed to mild incontinence along with the off and on burning and frequency. The incontinence is just after urination and is like I "dribble" for lack of better words. My problems tend to "wax and wane" and are definitely worse before and during my menstrual cycle. I have been reading a lot about condition and haven't seen anything about others have the "dribble" issues. Just wondering if anyone on here is experiencing this. I have been put on Elmiron and am praying that it works. Also, I have been looking up the pictures of the bladder with IC and have had a cysto done for dx...my pics don't have the red blotchy areas, just the numerous vessels...wondering if anyone knows of a site to look at a normal bladder vs. one with IC...this site says that on one of the links, but it is not clear whether both pics are IC or one is normal....thanks for any comments, and have a blessed day!
