Im not stressed, but sick

Post a new topicby Guest on Mon Jul 15, 2002 1:00 pm

For six months I have severe fatigue, feeling like Im getting the flu but I don't, enlarged lymph nodes (non tender)right arm, dull aching left pelvis, lower back pain and severe itchiness, temperatures, and 4 weeks ago severe flank pain, first the left side then next day both sides were paining. 3 weeks after flank pain I had red urine with no pain. Urine was dark orange the next time I voided. Blood pressure is low.

Anyway Urine test (day after bleeding) showed no blood, but high white cell count. My blood test showed severe low platelets but otherwise normal and IVP was normal except it stated abnormal renal contour or calyceal morphology?

I was thought to have breast cancer but it showed atypical cells and a cyst. I have had a hysterectomy 5 years ago but still have ovaries, I was said also to be going through early menopause I m 32yo.

I am going to a urologist but the wait is around three months, am I on the right track of visiting urologist or should I try another doctor, doctor says it is just stress, but I really dont have any stress in my life except now for feeling sick and not being listened too.

Thankyou for your time.

While stress may be playing a role, it does not cause red urine.
I think we would be considering a CT scan in such a case to get a better look at the kidneys, and to determine whether a cystoscopy is indicated sooner than three months.
Please keep your doctor informed and go to:

for more info meanwhile.
