Frequent Kidney Infections

I know someone who has constant “kidney infections”. Her demeanor seems fine, not in noticeable pain, but occasionally suddenly has pain. No one is in the ER with her & never hears what the Dr says, but it is always a “kidney infection”. She had a battery of tests, including MRI & nothing was found amiss, except an infection. She has been to the ER over 30 times in the past year. What is up with this?...Read the full article

There could be several issues. One option is suppressive antibiotics usually with one called Macrodantin. Things like urethral diverticulum and stones should be ruled out.
