In my experience passing uric acid stones there is no pain at all in most cases.
In rare cases it’s been inpleasant when the stones seemed to get stuck near the exit, but even that was not painful.
For a man, at least, passing a stone is something like the feeling you get spitting a cherry pit as far as possible by just blowing and letting it explode out of your mouth. Quite a surprising and painless feeling....Read the full article
