Re: Still mild pain after 3 monthsI had lithotripy just last fall. I remember that the procedure was not that bad. But afterward, my recovery was awful. For nearly two months, my entire side felt like it had been hit by a train. Every muscle ached and it literally hurt to do anything remotely strenuous. So I know exactly how you feel. I can say that I am fully recovered from the surgery now. But I also just got out of the ER today for yet another trip courtesy of kidney stones. So, although the surgery broke up that large stone on my left side, it is not the end-all of the matter. I am just assuming that I will be having that procedure again in the future and having kidney stones will be something that I will deal with for years to come. It is honestly horrible to think that at my age (27) I feel like an old lady with her medications and diet/exercise requirements. If I could wish away these stones, I would.
Re: Still mild pain after 3 monthsoh my God.. you better go to the doctor maybe some kidney stones during your surgery wasnt removed.
I had a succesfful surgery, thanked God. Oh by the way a friend of mine has this blog right here passkidneystone.com and it helps me understand more about the importance of kidneys and how to get rid of that very paunful kidney stones.
