He had been having a real bad diaper rash which had also irritated the skin on the side of the penis near the tip. I thought that I had gotten a handle on the rash but he had a really bad BM and it caused the urethra to bleed. Could it be that it got irritated or could it be a tear? I’m hoping that it is not too serious, although I’m afraid that when he urinates that it will burn. I am going to follow up with his pediatrician on this matter. It is probable related to the inflammation from the diaper rash. Definitely get it checked out. Good luck.
