Natalie’s 2nd UTI in 4 wks

Natalie is 3 yrs old in March of this year. I never thought her getting a high fever 103.7, vomiting, strong urine oder, bottom hurting her all the time and red. Her doctors never thought to check her pee. They just said it’s a stomach bug. I knew that was wrong and told the doc. to check her pee for uti. It came out postive for a uti. So we went to a pediatric urologist who said just drop off some pee if u think she is getting a uti again.

The advice you were given is correct, your daughter needs to be on antibiotics every day since recurring infections can damage and scar her kidneys.There is a chance that as she grows the reflux will correct itself. However if it does not or she continues to get infections it will probable be recommended that the reflux repaired, Good luck
