My 9 month old baby girl has this reflux(don't know the grade) and I am concerned. They put her on Septra antibiotics. I am allergic to sulfa, will this harm her? Is it normal to put her on such a strong antibiotic first instead of Amoxicillian? and being so young? Is 2.5 ml a normal dose for a 9 month old? I plan on calling her PCP and the Urologist in the morning but I wanted to know if anyone else out there has any info and has been through this too. All the side affects really have me freaked. Any info would help. I have been researching this all day and have not found any answers to these questions. Thanks and good luck to everyone going through this too.

hi! i am a mother of a 1 year old baby boy who happened to have have a reflux also. You need to get other's opinion on your baby's situation. I think you should know first the grade of reflux of your baby before getting into some antibiotics.
