back pain and urination problem please HELP if ya canIll try to be as concise as possible: I am now going to a doctor by I am looking for any input just to brainstorm with other ideas because I am not sure about these doctors.
1. Past year or so....every now and then moderate to severe pain only on the right side middle of my back. I figured pulled muscle or something. Last 2 or 3 months it has been constant pain sleeping, moving, sneezing, coughing. (i used to have arthuritis in the sacariliac joints when I was 18 ( I am now 31...so i can tolerate this pain. 2. Past 3 or 4 years whenever I drink alcohol I urinate more than any person I have ever met...it is constant...people make fun of me including myself. Past 3 months I now urinate all day/night like this. (seems longer but I am a teacher and I rarely leave my class to pee this much.) Usually, long streams. Last 4 days I have been going to the bathroom constantly, and most of the time it is dribbles. 3. Last 6 to 9 months hands going numb, both equally, especially awoken at night by this (and then I pee) 4. I am about 40 lbs overweight and bloodpressure is 139 over 88. Borderline. trying to lose wieght sensibly. Went to doctor: 1. They have diagnosed me with carpal tunnel syndrome. In therapy for this, and took an electric shock test that sucked hard core. The results, show a 50% lower than normal velocity for the electricity to travel the elbow to the finger tips. Doctor claims this test would show if I had diabeties. 2. Due to the back pain and urination, I gave him my blood and he did a 12 hour fast test, I know for at least diabetes. I am awaiting results.... Any other ideas or things I should look into?
Re: back pain and urination problem please HELP if ya canIf ou haven't had a urinalysis,http://www.urologychannel.com/diagnostictests/urinalysis.shtml ,urine test that would be a good place to start, blood or protein would indicate a kidney problem and glucose would indicate diabetes. If that is negative seeing a nephrologist, http://www.nephrologychannel.com/ ,or endocrinologist would be reasonable. Good luck.
